NoNoNO to Site C!

Stop flooding already. Enough is enough. Find a safe alternative energy source and leave our ungulate winter range alone.

Site C would flood 5,125 hectares or 13 Stanley Parks, displace 35 families and flood their farms, raise water temperature 2 to 3 degrees affecting whitefish, grayling, trout and walleye, affect ungulate populations by causing loss of critical riparian and lower elevation winter range, and also flood heritage sites.

A Friend, Don Payton, went fishing in the WAC Bennett Dam reservoir, named Williston Lake, and because they hadn't properly logged trees prior to flooding, these began popping up by the millions and forming huge rafts that went back and forth across the lake on the winds. He said that he found dead bloated moose by the hundreds banging up against the rafts where they drowned trying to get up on the logs to go to the lee shore.

While you are at it. Quit giving licenses to private energy producers to abscond with our fish and wildlife and forestry resources forever where we have to pay through the nose for that energy and lose access to those resources. The 2.2 billion should be spent on geothermal, wind, solar homes and hydrogen production.
